  Nowadays the word epic is completely taken out of context. When someone drops his peanut butter sandwich and catches it with the smeared side up, it is considered epic. Have we forgotten that an epic battle, cannot be fought with just one peanut butter sandwich? I haven't. And to prove the point, here’s my review of Tales From The Frozen Lands, Pt. 2 by the one-man epic black metal band Dead Crown.   In just four songs, Dead Crown creates a cold atmosphere where somewhere between the glaciers a battle is about to begin. A battle between Norse gods, unknown ones, and wolves. Inspired by his travels to Iceland, Fausto (real name Pedro Martinez, the man behind all this) invented a lyrical universe based on Norse mythology and fantasy. In 2020 he brought out Tales From The Frozen and Pt 1. Social media always helps me to find great music. On the Facebook group, There’s No Good Metal Anymore they actually share some great metal albums. And I came across this one: French deathgrind/crust/hardcore band Pilori from France. Their debut album 'À Nos Morts'  (To Our Dead) came out on the 26th of June and it is definitely something to mosh to. Tracklist: 1. Que la Bête Meure (with Dylan Walker from Full Of Hell) 2.
