Split with Changeling & Everlasting Light
Last year, I wrote a review on Changeling's third record. A genius black metal album with an original almost warm sound that they can only make in America. On March 15, 2021, they released a split cassette with Everlasting Light, a black metal band from Illinois via Quarter Records. Changeling are from Minneapolis, Minnesota, and have released three albums that take you on a cinematic journey through frightening futures, introspective turbulence and devastating aftermaths. Their only song on this split ‘My Imprint Left Below’ is one of their best songs. In 16 minutes the band tells a story through music that filled my heart with hope.
